Peer Support Specialist Level 2: Intermediate Skills (bundle)

Description
This five-module Peer Support Specialist Intermediate Skills course: (1) Explores the cognitive behavioral therapy framework—how a person’s thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes affect their feelings and behaviors—and how to apply it in a peer support setting; (2) Introduces how to identify negative thought patterns and consider ways to break these patterns; (3) Explores what drives negative thoughts and how we can modify them with the Peer2Peer Counseling Model; (4) Explores positive and negative emotions, understanding how emotions relate to behaviors, expressing emotions, identifying intense emotions, and identifying triggers; and (5) Provides strategies for identifying unhealthy behaviors and coping strategies and developing “behavioral fitness.” The idea is that by changing your actions, you can have a powerful impact on your thoughts, which then changes your emotions and mood. The course price includes a printable workbook that is accessible by clicking the "files" tab. This course is bundled with Levels 1 and Level 3 (Fundamentals and Advanced).
